Schedule

the
2012
Crossroads
Gathering
in
Van
Horn,
Texas
May 17,18,19 & 20 If you
are an entertainer interested in
performing at this event, simply go to our "Agritainers" page and sign up.
Rather than inviting
entertainers like other gatherings, if you hear
about the party, and
want to perform, simply be in the first 42
entertainers to sign up and
you are in the show. Our bylaws encourage
entertainers with more stage
experience to encourage and help those with less
experience, especially
those just starting out.
If you are a fan of cowboy entertainment, this is the one gathering you don't want to miss! Because of our unique format, we attract performers with a wide range of experience and material. We have had performers who have only told their stories and poems, or sung their songs to family friends and co-workers. This means when you come to Crossroads, you may not only hear a star in the making, but also hear new, original material mixed in with the classics. The schedule below is tenative for the 2012 Crossroads Gathering in Van Horn, Texas. While we will not be taking anything out of this schedule, we will be adding more events, so be sure to check back often! These entertainers are coming here on their own nickel to support this event. We are trying to raise money to provide them all with rooms. If you want to help out we are creating a special fund for this to which you can donate to. Thursday, May 17,2012 5:30 pm No host mixer and OPEN jam session at El Capitan. When we say open, we mean if you play an instrument bring it and play! Friday, May 18th 8am Local mic where the kids get in on the show as well as locals with stories bout the Van horn area get their turn on stage. 9am until 4pm The first half of entertainers who sign up will be performing in 20 minute sets. Judges will post scores to the top ten at the end of each performance. 6pm til 8:45 Dinner show featuring the first five performers who signed up. Tickets go on sale soon!
